These stunning Eroded Pebble earrings are completely handmade by Sarah Drew. They are not cast, and each earring is intentionally slightly different, but makes up a unique pair.
Made from recycled Eco- Silver, these earrings are handmade and sustainable.
The surface of the silver has been hand worked with holes, texture and markings, and polished with a soft satin finish to compliment the worn coastal look of Cornwall where Sarah lives. Before being Oxidised (blackened with heat) for a beautiful worn finish.
The ear stem is Sterling Silver.
ABOUT THE ARTIST
SARAH DREW
Makes contemporary, eclectic jewellery from objects she finds along the Cornish coast (driftwood, sea plastic, sea glass and slate pebbles) combined with semi-precious stones and pearls linked together with chunky hammered eco-silver chains, delicate crocheted fine silver and fused silver focal pieces.
With a passionate focus on sustainability, she uses recycled materials and found, discarded objects to create unique pieces that aren’t a strain on new resources and whose material components are traceable.
Sarah also uses traceable boulder opals from Australia set into eco-gold and eco-silver for magically coloured statement rings and pendants.
