Botanical Printing

Botanical printing or Eco Printing is the process of using leaves, tightly bundled in fabric or stacked in layers of paper and steamed over hot water or immersed in a dye bath to extract and transfer pigments from the leaves to produce a unique print.

In this workshop Botanical Printer, Maggie Pearson will lead you in a forage for local leaves to use in your own unique prints to produce a silk or wool scarf and stack of printed papers.

This is a full day workshop so please bring a packed lunch, or enjoy a delicious lunch at The Cafe.

Tea and cake will be provided.

£45 (plus approx £10 materials fee)
